WHAT DOES A VENTOSAS & SOBADA SESSION CONSIST OF?
Ventosas is the Spanish word for 'suction cups'. It is an Ancient Chinese fire cupping therapy, using glass cups and flames, to help alleviate inflamed areas/joints and encourage blood flow to damaged areas which stimulates the ‘Qi’ or the flow of energy in the different body parts.
The word Sobada is derived from the Spanish verb sobar, which means “to knead.” The purpose of this massage is to stimulate blood and lymph circulation, release knots, tangles, tensions and adhesions, and realign and reposition internal organs in their proper place to maintain or regain health.
