Those Walls Were Built By You

The only person limiting you is yourself. Those walls were built by you...

Shit happens. That doesn’t mean we need to put a wall up to prevent similar situations from happening. Believe it or not, walls actually do more harm than good. Hear me out.

Walls create limitations. They prevent us from freely experiencing the many possibilities life has to offer. So, why do we feel the need to put walls up in the first place? Well, our minds have a tendency to hold onto the past experiences as a survival mechanism. Though, instead of protecting us, we actually end up manifesting similar experiences through fear rather than healing and creating new and better experiences.

As the saying goes, “the real voyage of discovery consists, not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” Our experiences are a direct reflection of what we believe and create into our existence. With that being said, fear is only holding us back from living everyday with a fresh, new slate.

Gently bring those walls down, keep an open mind, and use empowering (not limiting) beliefs to create better thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
